Current NASSM members will be provided online access to the Journal of Sport Management (JSM) and the Sport Management Education Journal (SMEJ) via the NASSM members’ page (click here for the member’s page). Any member wishing to purchase a print component (JSM and/or SMEJ) must contact the customer service team at Human Kinetics directly to place the order (click here to contact HK).

Membership Fees

NASSM membership fees are $150 for professional members and $80 for student members. Annual emeritus and lifetime memberships are available for those individuals who are deemed eligible. The cost of the emeritus and lifetime memberships varies and depends on the number of years the individual has been in the profession; current NASSM professional membership rates; and current inflation and interest rates. For more information or to request to become an emeritus or lifetime member of NASSM, please contact the NASSM Business Office at director@nassm.org.

All membership payments must be via credit card and payments will be processed in US funds (since the fee in non-US currencies is converted by your credit card company based on the current exchange rate, we no longer list Canadian rates). Please note a 2.9% service fee will be added to online payments to offset the bank charges associated with processing credit card transactions. Please note that we are no longer accepting mail-in payments for memberships.
